Monday at night
I still don't understand shit from self-reliance, I read all of it last night and I'm not really a type of guy to enjoy reading so when I was reading I was trying my best to understand but with my mindset I still didn't understand...sorry dr Preston:(

AUTHOR IN PROGRESS

Well Emerson writing was a little to advance for me. I kinda did well on understanding his quotes and the theme of his book. What I need to work on more is understanding his vocabulary and understand the way he speaks

Literature Analysis #1

The book I'm reading is The long walk to water

Summary-"A Long Walk to Water" is a novel by Linda Sue Park. Published in 2010, the novel is written for older children and young adults and tells two separate stories which are brought together in the final chapter. The first story is about Nya, an eleven-year-old girl living in Southern Sudan who must make two long walks to fetch water for her family each day. The second - and main - story is based on the true life experiences of Salva Dut, who is forced to flee the war in Southern Sudan when he is eleven years old, and spends many years as a refugee before returning to Southern Sudan to drill wells which bring water to remote villages.

Theme-Nya walks a very long way every day to bring water that is impure to her family. Second, Salva’s whole adolescent and young adult life are really a walk toward the water that he will bring his people through building wells.

About the author- I think the author is calm guy that enjoys the beach. He's a guy that enjoys long walks and likes to think about life. He prabaly likes to drink tea and write too.

Me reviewing the story- the story was pretty interesting I kinda got the the and understood the meaning of the whole story. I didn't really understand it at first but then I understood about how he was using the charter in the story.
